This utilizes this laser procedure for teens and adults who area suffering with mild, moderate or even severe acne. We will still recommend an appropriate skincare routine, but this new treatment is changing the game in acne treatment due to it’s ability to also help with future acne breakouts.
After taking some baseline before photos, we will cleanse your skin to remove any surface oils before starting the treatment. Each treatment can take 30-45 minutes. You may experience a slight snapping sensation on your skin and then a cold sensation to follow. Mild side effects include a light pink or redness to the skin and some possible slight swelling. You will be advised, as always, to wear your sunscreen and you can continue with your regular skincare routine throughout the treatment series.
This is a series of 3 treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart. It is not uncommon to experience an acne flare after the first treatment as your skin is acclimating. This will be followed by healing and improvement that is long lasting. You will be asked to come back for follow up photos 12 weeks after your final treatment.
