Dr. Ken Dembny

Dr. Ken Dembny will tell you he always enjoyed science, and decided to attend the University of Wisconsin to major in biochemistry. He decided to attend medical school in order to find something more fulfilling than working in a lab. Surgery was a natural choice because it allowed him to work more with his hands. Once in his surgical residency at the the Medical College of Wisconsin, it became clear that plastic surgery was where he needed to be; allowing him the opportunity to take a creative and detailed approach to patient care. He did his plastic surgery fellowship at The Ohio State University in Columbus and then moved back to Wisconsin not only for a wonderful job opportunity, but also to be closer to family.
